Who we are

What we collect

The website has no accounts, forms or comments. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply to you.

If you accept cookies, we also use Google Analytics through Firebase to measure visits. This collects:

• the pages you view and how long you stay;
• which sections of a page you view, how far you scroll, and which buttons and links you click (including the email link);
• your approximate location (country and city), derived from your connection;
• your device type, operating system and browser;
• how you arrived, for example from a search engine or a link;
• an identifier stored in a cookie, so repeat visits can be recognised.

We do not use this to identify you personally. If you decline, none of this is collected and no analytics cookies are set.

Why and on what basis

We use analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are useful. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can give or refuse in the banner and withdraw at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Who receives the data

Analytics data is processed by Google as our service provider. The website itself is hosted on Firebase Hosting, also provided by Google, which handles standard server logs such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site.

Transfers outside the EU

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer relies on safeguards required by data protection law, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is kept for the retention period configured in our Google Analytics settings. Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, or restriction of its use, and you can object to its processing. Write to us at the address above. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt).
